This Privacy Policy applies to the "Geo Share" mobile application ("Application") created by Jakub Valenta ("Service Provider"). It describes how the Service Provider processes information related to identified or identifiable individuals ("Personal Data") and anonymous information ("Non-Personal Data").

By using the Application, users agree to comply with this Privacy Policy and understand how their data may be processed.

Information Collection

The Service Provider does not collect, retain, or share any Personal or Non-Personal Data through the Application.

The only data collection occurs when the Application is installed from Google Play, where Google Play statistics provide Non-Personal Data including:

  • Device model
  • Software versions
  • Country
  • Language
  • Network carrier

Data Storage and Security

The Application stores the following Non-Person Data locally on the user's device:

  • Logs of the map links that the user shared with the app or inputed in the Application.
  • User-defined settings of the Application.

This data:

  • Remains solely on the user's device
  • Is never transmitted over the internet
  • Is not backed up to cloud storage
  • Is accessible only through physical access to the device through Android debugging
  • Can be deleted by the user at any time

Non-Personal Data collected through Google Play statistics is stored according to Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Data Transfer

When the user chooses to connect to Google to process a Google Maps link, the Application makes a network connection from user's device to Google Maps. The Non-Personal Data collected by Google Maps when this network connection is made are stored according to Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Children's Privacy

The Application is not intended for children under 13 years of age. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13 or market to them.

Your Rights

Users have the right to:

  • Request information about their data
  • Request deletion of their data
  • Opt out of data collection

Changes to This Policy

The Service Provider may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Users will be notified of any changes through an update to this page. We recommend reviewing this Privacy Policy periodically.
